The first football team of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club will resume group training today, Monday, at the club’s stadium in the Smouha branch, in preparation for facing its traditional rival, Smouha, in the Premier League competition.

The first football team of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club is preparing to face its counterpart, Smouha, in the Alexandria derby, as part of the eighteenth round of the Premier League championship, which was scheduled to be held at Alexandria Stadium on Monday, February 16.
Mabulolo’s participation in training
Angolan Christopher Mabololo, who recently returned to the Sayed El Balad battalion, will participate in the team’s group training for the first time on Monday evening, with the player undergoing a physical program in order to prepare him well to enter the official matches.
Rehabilitation of Abdul Ghani Muhammad
The training session witnessed Abdel-Ghani Mohamed continuing the treatment program established by the player’s medical team, following his injury in the Haras El Hodood match in the posterior muscle, and the medical team is seeking to fully prepare the player before facing Smouha in the Premier League.
Earlier, Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club announced its official contract with Angolan Christopher Mabololo to strengthen the ranks of the first football team during the current winter transfer period.
Al-Ittihad of Alexandria said in an official statement: The Board of Directors of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club, headed by Mohamed Salama, has completed the procedures for contracting with Angolan striker Christopher Mabololo, so that he will return again to the ranks of Zaeem Al-Thaghr with a contract until the end of this season.
