A female student was killed and 7 others were injured as a result of a bicycle overturning while they were returning from school today, in the Dar El Salam Center in Sohag Governorate.
The female students were terrified, without any physical injuries.
A female student was killed and 7 injured in a motorcycle accident in Sohag
Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor of Sohag, had received a notification from the governorate’s operations room stating that a motorcycle accident had occurred carrying a number of female students on their way back to their homes after the end of the school day.
The concerned security authorities immediately moved to the scene of the incident, and upon examination it was found that the accident resulted in the death of the student, Jihan Hegazy Ahmed, in the third year of middle school, while no injuries were recorded among the rest of the female students.
The necessary measures were taken, and a report on the incident was prepared in preparation for presenting it to the investigating authorities to complete the legal procedures followed.
