Al-Ahly Club officially announced its submission Karim Fouad The right back of the Red Team undergoes a medical examination after the injury he suffered with the second Egyptian team in the 2025 Arab Cup.
Karim Fouad returned with the Egyptian second team delegation, this afternoon, Wednesday, after the team’s early exit from the 2025 Arab Cup in the group stage after losing to Jordan by three unanswered points.
According to what Ahmed Jaballah, Al-Ahly club doctor, said in official statements on Al-Ahly’s official website, Karim Fouad, the team’s player, will undergo a new medical examination after returning from Qatar and the end of participation in the Arab Cup Championship.
He explained that the medical team will determine the player’s physical therapy and rehabilitation program for the coming period, based on examining the developments in his condition, after he suffered a sprain in the cruciate ligament and a sprain in the internal ligament of the knee during his participation in the tournament.
Karim Fouad underwent therapeutic training in Qatar following the injury, and will begin completing physical therapy on the sidelines of the Red Team’s training, starting tomorrow, Thursday, in order to recover from his injury.
The duration of Karim Fouad’s absence
According to what was confirmed by the x-rays performed by the Al-Ahly player, it showed that he suffered a tear in the internal ligament of the right knee, in addition to a tear in the cruciate ligament patch, which will keep him out for a period of between 4 to 6 weeks.
