The General Authority announced For meteorology Weather instability continues in most parts of the country today, Saturday, March 21, with temperatures expected to drop by values ranging between 3 and 4 degrees.

The General Authority of Meteorology explained in an official statement that the country will witness noticeable wind activity, ranging in speed between 30 and 40 km per hour, which will stir up sand and dust, especially in the areas of Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt, in addition to the Red Sea Governorate.
Rain of varying intensity in several areas
Forecasts indicate chances of moderate rain, which may be heavy and thundery at times, on the northern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, and Sinai, at intermittent intervals.
There are also chances of light to moderate rain with an incidence of approximately 30% in areas of southern Lower Egypt, the canal cities, Greater Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt.
Disturbances in maritime navigation
The Authority warned of disruption to maritime navigation in some areas of the Mediterranean, where wind speeds reach between 50 and 60 km per hour, with waves rising from 2.5 to 3.5 metres.
Meteorology advised citizens to be careful and avoid standing under trees, billboards, or near dilapidated buildings, in light of active winds. It also stressed the need to drive calmly on the roads due to low horizontal visibility, especially in areas affected by dust.
She indicated the possibility of thunderclouds forming at a rate of up to 30%, which may be accompanied by heavy rain at times, with chances of lightning and hailstones occurring in some areas, in addition to strong wind activity as a result of air descending from below the clouds.
