Biography of the Deputy Governor of Sohag
Kamal Suleiman has a long professional career in the field of local administration, as he was born in Qena Governorate in 1972 and graduated from the College of Commerce. He held a number of leadership positions, including the position of Secretary General of the Red Sea Governorate, and before that the Assistant Secretary General. He also previously held the position of Director General of Planning in the Governorate General Office for seven years, which gave him various experiences in strategic planning, project follow-up, and coordination between executive agencies, which contributes to accelerating the pace of achievement and achieving the state’s goals in sustainable development.
The appointment of the Deputy Governor comes in a step aimed at supporting the process of executive work and enhancing comprehensive development efforts in the various centers and cities of Sohag Governorate, and benefiting from his extensive administrative experience in supporting development plans and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
