The National Center of Meteorology expected that the UAE weather today, Wednesday, will witness partly cloudy to cloudy weather at times, especially in the western regions, with a chance of rain, and a noticeable drop in temperatures, as the country is affected by an extension of a surface depression accompanied by a cold air mass.

These forecasts come as the country is affected by an extension of a surface depression coming from the southeast, coinciding with a depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by a cold air mass and an upper air current coming from the west, leading to the development of clouds over some areas and a drop in temperatures.
The center explained that the UAE’s weather today will be characterized by a noticeable drop in temperatures compared to previous days, with maximum temperatures ranging between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will drop to between 11 and 22 degrees Celsius in various regions. Liwa records the highest expected maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, while Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain record the lowest minimum temperatures of 11 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively, which reflects the influence of the cold air mass on the northern and inland regions.
The Center stated in its detailed statement that the UAE’s weather today is characterized by light to moderate winds that are active at times, as their movement will be southeasterly to northwesterly at a speed ranging between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour and may reach 35 kilometers per hour in some periods, especially in open areas. These moderate winds contribute to moving clouds from the western regions towards the central and northern regions, and may also raise dust and dust in some interior and desert areas.
Data issued by the National Center of Meteorology also indicate that the UAE’s weather today will witness a variation in humidity levels between different regions, with maximum humidity levels ranging between 65% and 85% in various parts of the country, while minimum humidity levels will drop to between 10% and 35%.
