The security services concerned with securing one of the electoral districts in the Al-Ahram Police Department in Giza were able to arrest two people in the vicinity of the district in possession of a number of citizens’ national ID cards in preparation for urging them to vote for one of the candidates.

The Ministry of Interior announced in an official statement that legal measures had been taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation, stressing that this comes within the framework of monitoring the progress of the electoral process.
In another context, the security services concerned with securing one of the electoral districts in the Deir Mawas Police Station District in Minya were able to arrest a person in the vicinity of the district, in possession of a number of citizens’ national identification cards in preparation for urging them to vote for one of the candidates. Legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
