The Beni Suef Governorate Drinking Water and Sanitation Company announced that water was cut off from the Shanra Village Council of the Al-Fashn Center, today, Sunday, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., for a period of 12 continuous hours, as part of the periodic maintenance work carried out by the company to improve the efficiency of the service provided to citizens.

The company explained, in a statement, that the reason for the outage was due to the implementation of disinfection works on the ground tank at the Beni Menin Water Station in the Al-Fashn Center, which requires temporarily stopping the operation of the station until the scheduled work is completed and the safety and quality of the produced water is guaranteed.

The company confirmed that these works come within a periodic plan aimed at maintaining the efficiency of the drinking water system and raising the level of service provided to citizens in various villages and centers of the governorate, noting that water will be re-pumped immediately upon completion of the disinfection work and ensuring that the station is ready to operate at full capacity.

The water company calls on citizens, especially residents of Shinra Village Council, to manage their water needs during the outage period, and to take the necessary measures to avoid any impact from the service outage, especially for daily household uses.

In the same context, the company confirmed that it will provide usable pure drinking water vehicles, which will be driven to the affected areas upon request, in order to ease the burden on citizens during the outage period.

To inquire or report any complaints, the company called on citizens to contact the hotline 125 from any landline or mobile phone, or via the WhatsApp number 01211175827, confirming the readiness of the technical support and customer service teams to deal immediately with any reports or inquiries.
