In the same context, the winter transfer period in Egypt ends without Zamalek Club concluding any new deals due to the suspension of the White Castle’s registration.

It is worth noting that the Zamalek club management is facing an escalating financial crisis after the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced 11 cases regarding the suspension of players’ registration, due to late payments to former players, coaches and clubs, with a total amounting to about 3,867,600 dollars, which is equivalent to about 183 million pounds.

The cases include individual and collective dues, most notably: Portuguese coach Jose Gomez $120,000, three of his assistants $60,000, and former Swiss coach Christian Gross $133,000, while Tunisian international Ferjani Sassi received a final ruling for his dues amounting to $500,000.

The cases also include several clubs, including the Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora, 200,000 euros from the Chico Panza deal, the Belgian club Charleroi, 170,000 euros from the Uday Dabbagh deal, the Moroccan club Nahdet El-Zemamra, 250,000 dollars from the Salah Mosaddeq deal, in addition to the Ukrainian club Oleksandria, 800,000 dollars from the Juan Bezerra deal.

The case of Senegalese Ibrahima Ndiaye stands out as the largest of these cases, with dues amounting to $1.6 million, which increases the financial pressure on Zamalek, and makes there an urgent need to find urgent solutions to avoid further suspensions and penalties.

It is worth noting that there are other cases related to the Zamalek club in which the registration was not suspended, most notably the case of the Polish player Michalak, Abdel Hamid Maali’s dues, in addition to Salah Mosaddeq’s dues.
