The runoff round of the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections begins today in North Sinai Governorate, in light of intense security and organizational preparations aimed at ensuring that the electoral process proceeds in a calm and safe atmosphere.
North Sinai is preparing for the runoff round for the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections
Elections are held within the governorate in one electoral district that includes the centers of Bir al-Abd, Nakhl, and Al-Hasna, where two candidates compete for one individual seat in the House of Representatives.
The governorate confirmed the completion of all necessary preparations to receive the runoff round, with the activation of continuous follow-up through the central operations room headed by Major General Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, to follow up on the regularity of the work of the electoral committees and headquarters.
The preparations included providing all necessary logistical services and equipment within the committees, in addition to full coordination between the concerned authorities to ensure the comfort of voters and the smoothness of the electoral process, which reflects the state’s keenness to make the constitutional entitlement a success and enable citizens to exercise their electoral right.
