General education students in South Sinai Governorate continue the second day of mid-year transfer exams, at the various educational levels, within 360 schools affiliated with the eight educational departments in the governorate.
Adel Atlam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in South Sinai, told Cairo 24 that transport students in the primary, preparatory, general and technical secondary education levels are continuing, today, with the exams of the second day of the mid-year exams, which began yesterday, January 3, 2026, and ends on January 14 of this year, in 360 schools distributed among 8 educational departments.
Atlam confirmed that the total number of students in the various stages of transportation, who have the right to take the mid-term exams for the 2025/2026 academic year, amounts to 26,727 students, male and female, in the stages of primary, middle and general secondary education, and technical education at its commercial, industrial, agricultural and hotel levels.
He explained that all transfer students in the various stages take exams on the second day in a number of subjects, whether added or not added to the total.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry stressed on committee heads and observers to completely prevent the entry of mobile phones into the committees, whether for students or observers, and to confront any phenomenon of cheating, while treating students well, and providing a safe and disciplined atmosphere to perform exams with ease and ease, with an emphasis on students’ attendance at least a quarter of an hour before the start of the exam.
Atlam pointed out that the total number of transfer students in the primary stage who have the right to take the mid-year exams is 15,553 male and female students, while the number of transfer students in the preparatory stage is 8,429 male and female students, and the number of transfer students in the general and technical secondary stages in its various stages reaches 2,748 male and female students.
Second day exams
Today, Sunday, students in the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades of primary school take the religious education exam from 9:00 to 10:30.
Students in the first and second years of middle school also take the religious education exam from 9:00 to 10:30, and the computer and information technology exam from 11:00 to 12:00.
First year secondary school students take the English language exam from 9:00 to 10:30, and the programming and artificial intelligence exam from 11:00 to 12:00.
Students in the second year of general secondary school take the religious education exam from 11:00 to 12:30, and the national education exam from 1:00 to 2:30.
Students in the first year of secondary school in the “Qualities” section take the exam for the subjects of national education from 9:00 to 10:30, and the first foreign language from 11:00 to 2:00.
Students in the second year of commercial secondary school also take the first foreign language exam from 9:00 to 12:00, and the citizenship and human rights exam for all people from 12:30 to 2:00.
Students in the first year of commercial secondary school take the exam in the subjects of national education from 9:00 to 10:30, and the first foreign language from 11:00 to 2:00.
Hotel secondary school transportation students
First-year hotel secondary school students take the National Education exam from 9:00 to 10:30, and the first foreign language from 11:00 to 2:00.
Second year hotel secondary school students also take the first foreign language exam from 9:00 to 12:00, and the citizenship and human rights exam from 12:30 to 2:00.
Students in the second year of agricultural secondary school in the “Qualities” section take the English language exam from 9:00 to 11:30 for all specializations.
Students in the first year of agricultural secondary school (general) also take the English language exam from 9:00 to 11:30 for all specializations, and the biology exam from 12:00 to 2:00.
Students in the first year of agricultural secondary school in the “Qualities” section take the National Education exam from 9:00 to 10:30, and the English language from 11:00 to 1:30 for all specializations.
Students of the first year of industrial secondary school
Students in the first year of industrial secondary school in the “General” section take the national education exam from 9:00 to 10:30 for all specializations, and the English language exam from 11:00 to 1:30.
Students in the first year of industrial secondary school also take the “Qualities” section, the national education exam from 9:00 to 10:30, and the English language exam from 11:00 to 12:30.
Students in the second year of industrial secondary school in the “General” section take the English language exam from 9:00 to 11:30 for all specializations, then specialization exams from 12:00 to 2:00, which include:
Metallurgy and heat treatment for the welding department
Diving nature material for the diving equipment repair and maintenance department
Production planning and management material for decoration, apparel, refrigeration, shipbuilding, knitwear, marine engines, derailleur electrics, and automobile departments
Students in the Furniture Carpentry and Water Networks Departments will take an exam in the Production Planning and Management subject from 12:00 to 2:30.
