Captain Saad Farouk arrives this morning at Aswan Club to assume leadership of the training of the first football team, in preparation for the upcoming confrontation with the Mahalla Municipality in the professional league.

Club sources explained to Cairo 24 that Farouk will hold a meeting with the board of directors before the training session to get to know the team’s players and their technical levels, to develop an appropriate plan for the next match.
The technical director is also expected to meet with the council after the end of the training session to discuss the position of the new deals and the team’s needs during the transfer period, to ensure that the team is prepared in the best way before facing the Mahalla Municipality scheduled for January 9 at the Mahalla Municipality Club Stadium.
The arrival of the new technical director comes within the framework of Aswan’s preparations to enhance technical performance and take advantage of the short training period before the important confrontation, amid the club’s ambitions to achieve a positive result against the Mahalawy team.
Aswan announces the dismissal of Ahmed Othman and the appointment of Saad Farouk as technical director of the first team
The Aswan Sports Club Board of Directors, headed by Al-Shafi’i Saleh, decided to thank Captain Ahmed Othman and officially end his mission as technical director of the first football team.
In a step to enhance the technical stability of the team, the Board of Directors announced the completion of the contract with Captain Saad Farouk to officially assume responsibility as technical director of the first team during the next stage in the professional league competitions, with Captain Mahmoud Moaz assisting him in the position of general coach.
The Board of Directors indicated that this decision comes within the framework of the club’s endeavor to ensure the best preparations for the team for the current season, enhance technical performance and achieve the desired results in the league, in a way that befits the aspirations of Aswan fans and the club’s position on the sports scene.
The club confirmed that all measures were in accordance with the management’s vision of building a balanced team capable of competing, while maintaining technical and administrative stability during the current season.
The date of Aswan’s next match in the professional league
The Mahalla Municipality Club will host its counterpart, the Aswan Club, on the field of the Mahalla Municipality Stadium, as part of the 17th round of the Professional League competition, where the match is scheduled to be held at the Mahalla Municipality Club Stadium on January 9, 2026 at 2:30 pm. Both teams hope to achieve a positive result to strengthen their positions in the tournament table.
