It launches today, Saturday. In Algeria Activities of the fourth edition of the African Start-up Conference, which is the largest event dedicated to this type of enterprise in Africa, with the attendance of more than 25 thousand participants.
According to Algerian media, this event, under the slogan of supporting the emergence of African champions, from December 6 to 8, at the International Convention Center “Abdellatif Rahal,” under the patronage of the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, represents an important continental date in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, as the conference has established its position as a real platform that contributes to building a technological, competitive, integrated ecosystem that consolidates African sovereignty.
African Start-up Conference
The event is organized by the Algerian Ministry of Knowledge Economy, startups and micro-enterprises, and Algeria Venture, with the participation of more than 35 ministerial delegations, more than 200 exhibitors from Africa and abroad, in addition to more than 300 international experts.
The conference will also witness the attendance of more than 150 investors, in addition to a significant number of project owners, incubators, and entrepreneurs from the African community abroad, in addition to officials and representatives of international organizations, and international actors.
Rwanda will be the guest of honor for this edition, given the great progress this country has achieved in the field of innovation, and Algeria’s keenness to strengthen its cooperation with the continent’s leading countries in the field of entrepreneurship.
The Algerian President recently stressed, during a Cabinet meeting, the importance of this event, as it is an essential artery linking African countries with the world.
Tebboune stressed that the trend towards an emerging enterprise economy, according to an African-African partnership, is the most successful model for building a strong, diversified economy, with science as its base and Algeria as its incubator.
