The security services at the Ibrahimiyya Police Station in Sharkia Governorate arrested an unemployed man, accusing him of assaulting his mother by insulting and beating him, and of leaking gas from the gas cylinder cock inside the apartment where they lived.
The police station had received a report from the Rescue Police Department stating that a person had assaulted his mother and threatened the safety of citizens. Upon moving and examining it, it was found that the accused was named (S.N.M), 33 years old, unemployed, and residing on a street in the center district.
Investigations revealed that the unemployed man assaulted his mother (S.A.), 42 years old, a housewife, by insulting and hitting him with his hands without causing any injuries. He also leaked gas from the gas cylinder cock inside the apartment, because he wanted to sell some of the contents of the apartment to obtain a sum of money to buy narcotic drugs.
The accused climbed to the top of the pipe of the house on the second floor, threatening to throw himself, but the forces were able to control him, detain him, and close the gas valve without causing any injuries.
Confronting the accused, he admitted to committing the incident, the necessary report was prepared, and it is being presented to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary legal measures.
