Cairo 24 continues to publish investigations into the case of Sarah Khalifa and others being accused of detaining a young man, her “driver,” assaulting him, violating his honor, and photographing him inside the home of the first accused in Case No. 527 of 2026 First Settlement Felony, registered under No. 1 of 2026, New Cairo College.

Investigations into the Sarah Khalifa case reveal details of her driver’s detention and indecent assault

Investigations revealed that during the month of October 2021, based on a prior criminal agreement between the accused, Sarah Khalifa, and the accused, Fathi Khaled, known as Fathi Al-Abyad, to detain the victim M. Sh. A. in her residence in Agouza, assaulting him by beating him, causing him to be injured with a firearm and two knives, assaulting his honour, photographing him naked, and threatening to publish the video clip if he reported their act to the police.

The investigations added that this was in retaliation for him providing information about the whereabouts of the accused Fathi Khaled Fathi because he was escaping from one of the cases at the time, after the accused Fathi Khaled, known as Fathi Al-Abyad, learned that the victim had given him information about his hiding place to escape from a case.

Investigations indicated that he informed the accused, Sarah Khalifa, of his suspicions, so the accused took advantage of the victim’s presence with her because he was her private driver, and asked him to go up to her house and confronted him with her suspicions, so the victim confessed to her. As a result, the accused informed the accused, Fathi Al-Abyad, and they agreed together to detain the victim until the rest of the accused arrived to assault him, violate his honor, and photograph him naked.

Indeed, the accused’s sister’s husband came and then sent the accused, Fathi Al-Abyad, to the accused’s residence, accused Abdel Halim. A. A., known as Hamasa, was accompanied by two unknown others. The accused Hamasa was in possession of a firearm at the time, a pistol that had been seized in one of the other cases after that.

The investigations concluded that the accused Abdel Halim assaulted the victim and beat him using the body of a firearm, causing his injury at that time. Then the accused took turns assaulting the victim using the two white weapons in their possession, which were knives. Then they forced the victim to remove his clothes and photographed him naked with the intention of assaulting his honor and threatening him not to report their incident. These actions were instigated by the accused Fathi Al-Abyad, who was communicating with them by telephone. Then to confirm their action.
