Details of the incident
A video clip circulated on Facebook showed a group of people forcing a young man to wear women’s clothing and stand on top of a chair in a scene that sparked dissatisfaction and anger among social media users, before assaulting him by beating him and mocking him in front of the people.
After monitoring the video, the security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate intensified their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident, and the accused were identified and arrested.
When they were confronted, they admitted to committing the incident, justifying their action because the victim had established a romantic relationship with one of them’s daughter and fled with her. The necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
