The security services revealed the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, which included a tour guide drawing on the wall of one of the monuments for the purpose of explaining to a group of tourists in Giza.
Upon examination, it was found that the Saqqara Tourism Police Department was informed by (an antiquities inspector in the aforementioned area) that a tour guide (appeared in the video clip), residing in the Boulak Dakrour Police Department, had destroyed an antiquity. For drawing on the outer covering of one of the pyramids; For the purpose of explaining to a group of tourists who were with him.
He added that the drawings were removed by the competent authorities.
The defendant was arrested, and when he was confronted, he admitted that he had committed the incident as referred to, and legal measures were taken.
