Dr. Hani Saried El-Din, the candidate for the position of head of the Wafd Party in Egypt, said that since 2013 the state has gone through several stages of challenges, and the focus in the first stage was on the return of state institutions, similar to what happened in Libya and Syria, which threatened the safety of the Egyptian state, noting that this was a top priority.
He said during his meeting with the media Ahmed Musa In the “On My Responsibility” program broadcast on “Sada El Balad” channel, he said that the security and preservation of the state was a primary goal, and that President Sisi’s candidacy is considered an Egyptian national security measure to save the state, stressing that we succeeded in this stage ably.
He added that the second stage was the infrastructure stage, where there was dilapidated infrastructure, in addition to the spread of hepatitis, explaining that the state succeeded in eliminating an epidemic and chronic disease.
He explained that the third stage is the economic reform stage, pointing out that the previous two stages had a huge cost, and that there was a period in which no one would invest, so we suffered for a while, then we began the economic reform stage, because it is not possible to implement a huge economic reform under only an internal construction stage.
He pointed out that the fourth stage that we are currently entering is the stage of institutional reform, explaining that economic reform and structural reform have begun through the introduction of private investment, pointing out that 80% of the employment force is in the private sector.
He concluded: We need the private sector to participate in education projects at the governorate level, and the private sector has a major role in increasing local manufacturing.”
