Ahmed Eid Abdel Malik, the former Egyptian football star, directed sharp criticism at the club’s board of directors Zamalek Headed by Hussein Labib, due to the major crises that befell the White Castle during the recent period.
Ahmed Eid Abdel Malik said in a television statement on MBC Misr 2: “I was supporting the council.” Zamalek The first time Wagih succeeded, I asked a question in a session where the entire council was present: Do you know about Zamalek’s crises or problems, and the response was that they fully know the problems and are ready with solutions.
Ahmed Eid Abdel Malik added: “This council was lucky in the beginning because of the businessmen who loved the club and supported it with large sums of money. Also, at the level of the football team, Zamalek won two important championships, namely the Confederation and the African Super Cup, then the Egypt Cup. It was supposed to build on these championships, but what happened was the opposite. They started bringing in a sports director and the world was ruined.”
Ahmed Eid Abdel Malik continued: “I and the fans of the Zamalek Club had a great deal of support in the Labib Council, but unfortunately they did not provide 5 or 10% of what they were supposed to provide, and the situation also remained much worse than before.”
