The Moroccan national team settled the result of its match against its Zambian counterpart by winning three goals free of charge, clinching its qualification to the round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, at the top of Group A.
The match between Morocco and Zambia started with great intensity, especially on the part of the home team, the Moroccan team, which dominated the course of the game from the first minute, and threatened the opponent’s goal until it was able to score the first goal in the 10th minute through its distinguished striker, Ayoub El Kaabi.
The Moroccan national team continued its dominance and control over the course of the game, until it was able to double the score with the second goal by the distinguished winger Brahim Diaz in the 27th minute, ending the first half with the Atlas Lions leading by two goals to nothing.
In the second half, the Moroccan national team continued to put pressure until it was able to complete the hat-trick through Ayoub El Kaabi in the 51st minute.
With this result, the Moroccan national team raised its score of points to 7 points, occupying the top spot in the group, while the Zambian national team fell to fourth place with two points, while the Mali national team qualified for second place in the group after drawing with the Comoros.
