The confrontation between Jordan and Iraq in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup ended with Al-Nashama winning 1-0, qualifying for the semi-final match.

Yazan Al-Naimat left injured in the 15th minute, after suffering a severe knee injury. He appeared wearing a medical bandage before his injury, which means that he played the match while suffering from a knee injury, as the Jordanian national team’s medical staff and paramedics intervened inside the field to transfer Yazan Al-Naimat outside the green rectangle, carried on a stretcher, to be replaced by his teammate, Odeh Al-Fakhouri.
Ali Alwan scored the only goal in the match for the Jordanian national team in the 41st minute from a penalty kick.

With this result, the Jordanian national team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup to face the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia next December 15 at 7:30 pm Cairo time at Al-Bayt Stadium.
