He met with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, President cabinetOn the sidelines of his participation in the seventh summit between the African Union and the European Union, held in the Angolan capital, Luanda, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Basserou Diomay Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, in the presence of Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to his Senegalese counterpart, praising the momentum witnessed in bilateral relations, stressing that Egypt views Senegal as a strategic partner in West Africa, expressing the pride of the Egyptian government and people in the historical and fraternal relations with Senegal.

For his part, the President of the Republic of Senegal stressed that the relationship between the two countries represents a model of fruitful cooperation between the countries of the African continent, supported by historical, cultural and political ties.

Basiro Diomai Fay pointed out the importance of continuing to strengthen joint work with the aim of advancing bilateral relations to broader horizons, in a way that meets the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples and contributes to advancing African integration.

The President of Senegal also expressed his sincere regards to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
