On the other hand, earlier, Mohamed Henedy announced a new dramatic project that brings him together with the great author Youssef Maati, in a cooperation that returns the latter to the drama arena after an absence for several years, as he published a picture of him and Maati on his official Facebook page, announcing that the name of the series will be Qandil.
Mohamed Henedy’s last work in cinema was the movie Marei El Primo, which was shown in 2023. It was written by Ihab Bleibel and directed by Saeed Hamed. Ghada Adel, Alaa Morsi, Mustafa Abu Saree, Mohamed Mahmoud, Ahmed Badir, Nancy Salah, Lotfi Labib, Ahmed Sultan, Mohsen Mansour and others participated in the work.
Mohamed Henedy also participated in the last Ramadan season of 2025, with the series Certificate of Treatment of Children, and a number of artists participated alongside him, including: Mahmoud Hafez, Sabry Fawaz, Noha Abdeen, Walid Fawaz, Jihan Khalil, Khaled Anwar and others.
