The Egyptian Satellite Company – Nilesat, announced the acquisition National Bank of Egypt A significant share in the bank’s capital amounted to approximately 7.54% of the total shares.

The company explained in a disclosure to the Egyptian Stock Exchange that the National Bank of Egypt’s share is equivalent to 2.812 million Nilesat shares.

In another context, the Export Development Bank announced that the National Bank of Egypt had acquired a significant stake in the bank’s capital, amounting to about 19.80% of the total shares.

The bank explained in a disclosure to the Egyptian Stock Exchange that the National Bank of Egypt’s share is equivalent to 269.27 million shares of the Export Development Bank.

Regarding the interconnected groups, he pointed out that the portfolio of the National Bank of Egypt 2, which is managed through the Al Ahly Financial Investment Management Company AFIM, includes about 5.2 million shares of the Export Development Bank, by the end of December 2025.

The Export Development Bank’s capital amounts to about 13.6 billion pounds, distributed over 1.36 billion shares, with a nominal value of 10 pounds per share. The ownership structure is divided between the National Investment Bank with a 40.75% interest, the Banque Misr with a 23.14% interest, the National Bank of Egypt with a 19.80% interest, and Sherif Adly Kyrollos Boulos with a 6.67% interest.
