The decision came after completing the investigations and hearing the accused’s detailed confessions about the circumstances of the crime. He admitted to committing the incident due to financial disputes that arose between him and the victim, after the latter demanded that he pay a sum of money owed to him.
The accused explained during the investigations that a verbal altercation took place between them and developed into a quarrel, as a result of which he stabbed the victim with a white weapon in the chest area, claiming that he was defending himself after the victim insulted “Cutter” during the dispute.
The accused added that he tried to help his partner after the incident, and took him to a clinic in the village, but the workers there asked to transfer him to a government hospital due to his poor health condition and difficulty breathing, but he was surprised by his death while trying to transfer him.
The accused continued his confessions that he tried to hide the signs of the crime, as he moved the body to an agricultural area and placed it temporarily inside a nest, then he went to his workshop and brought a new lock and iron scissors, after which he transported the body to the graves, cut the lock of one of the graves and buried the body inside it, then closed it with the new lock to remove suspicions from him.
The security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate had received a notification from the Rescue Police stating that the body of a person in his thirties, the owner of a workshop, had been found inside one of the cemeteries in the Kafr Al-Shoubak area in the Shebin Al-Qanater Center District.
Immediately, the security forces moved to the location of the report, and by conducting investigations and gathering information, the identity of the accused was determined and arrested, and when he was confronted, he confessed to committing the crime as mentioned above.
The investigation authorities continue to complete the necessary legal procedures, while awaiting forensic reports and final investigations to determine all the circumstances of the incident.
