Major General Dr. Mustafa Al-Beblawi, Governor of Qena, performed the blessed Eid Al-Fitr prayer rituals, from the square of Al-Arif Billah Sidi Abdel Rahim Al-Qenai Mosque in the city of Qena, in the presence of a large crowd of the people of the governorate.

He performed the Eid prayer rituals accompanied by the governor, Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qena, Major General Muhammad Hamid Hisham, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Qena Security, Major General Sami Allam, General Secretary of the Governorate, Brigadier General of Staff Muhammad Sidqi Al-Komi, Military Advisor to the Governorate, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Zaki Younis, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments, Representative Mustafa Mahmoud, Representative Ahmed Abdel Salam Al-Sheikh, members of the House of Representatives, and a group of executive leaders. After performing the prayer, the Governor of Qena and the worshipers listened to the Eid sermon delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Ezz Muhyi Al-Din Ezz Al-Din, the imam of the mosque, in which he addressed the virtue of Eid Al-Fitr as it is the day of reward that comes after the blessed month of Ramadan. The fasting person has two joys: joy for breaking the fast and joy when meeting his Lord, stressing the necessity of maintaining ties of kinship and spreading joy among Muslims during the days of Eid, calling on God Almighty to return this occasion to Egypt and the Islamic nation with goodness and prosperity. And blessings, and may He grant Egypt and its honorable people security, safety, stability and prosperity.
The Governor of Qena was keen to exchange congratulations with the worshipers in celebration of this blessed day, expressing his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Egyptian people in general and the people of the governorate in particular, on this happy occasion, praying to God Almighty that our dear Egypt will enjoy more progress and prosperity, under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
The governor also stressed the heads of local units and general directors of service directorates, the necessity of field follow-up, intensifying efforts, and paying attention to the cleanliness of streets, parks, and public gardens to prevent the accumulation of waste and removing it promptly, and regular shift work throughout the day, directed to raise the maximum level of preparedness at the level of vital sectors and facilities within the governorate, during the days of Eid al-Fitr, and to continue activating the work of the central and subsidiary operating rooms around the clock and direct linking with the control center of the National Network for Emergency and Public Safety in the governorate office.
