Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun, Governor of Menoufia, delivered financial and in-kind assistance to 200 humanitarian cases from vulnerable families, with a total value of approximately one million pounds, as part of a series of meetings of the Give Back Initiative adopted by the Governor to support the most needy groups and put a smile on their faces.

This comes within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to provide full support to first families With careAnd strengthening the social protection umbrella to achieve a decent and safe life for citizens.

The aid provided included meat, foodstuffs, and sums of money, in the presence of officials from the directorates of health, labor, supply, and social solidarity. The governor stressed that these meetings come as a continuation of the state’s approach to supporting deserving groups, and directly dealing with their problems on the ground, in implementation of the goals and axes of the new republic and building the Egyptian human being.

During the meeting, the Governor of Menoufia listened to the demands and complaints of the families, and directed the executive agencies to quickly study them and work on their immediate solution, each within the scope of their jurisdiction. He directed the issuance of wheelchairs to two cases of people of determination, and the facilitation of the necessary licensing procedures to establish 3 food kiosks for a number of cases in the villages of Sarsna in the Martyrs Center and Zuwayr in the city of Shebin El-Kom, taking into account their living conditions.

The governor assigned the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health to take urgent measures for 21 medical cases, and to conduct the necessary medical examinations for them at university and health insurance hospitals, and specialized surgeries at Mit Khalaf, Menouf General, and Quesna General Hospitals, in addition to the ophthalmia and fever hospitals in Shebin El-Kom.

In the same context, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity directed to facilitate the procedures for disbursing the “Solidarity and Dignity” pension to 13 cases, to help them meet the requirements of life. He also assigned the Director of the Supply Directorate to explore the possibility of adding newborns to 35 families to disburse subsidized goods. He directed the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor to communicate directly with 23 cases to provide suitable job opportunities for them in the private sector.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the people expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Governor of Menoufia, praising his keenness to communicate directly with them, and his interest in supporting the families in need of care and providing them with a continuous helping hand.
