In a step aimed at improving the health care system and providing the best medical services to citizens, Matrouh Governor General Khaled Shuaib announced the selection of a group of public figures with experience and interest in the health field to work in cooperation with the hospital administration in the governorate to jointly supervise the development of medical services within hospitals and health units.
The governor explained that this step comes within the framework of the governorate’s executive leadership’s keenness to enhance the quality of health services and provide integrated medical care for citizens, noting that the individuals who were chosen were selected on the basis of competence, actual interest in health matters, and their ability to contribute to improving the level of services.
The governor added that the new authority will work periodically and regularly with hospital administration leaders to monitor the performance of medical services, develop practical recommendations to improve work procedures, improve patient services, and develop training curricula for workers in the health sector.
For his part, a number of public figures included in the decision expressed their appreciation for the trust, stressing their full readiness to work side by side with health personnel to provide the best level of medical care to the people of Matrouh.
The governorate stressed that this step aims to enhance integration between civil society and official institutions in improving the health sector, which will reflect positively on the level of services provided to citizens in all health centers and units in the governorate.
