Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, met today with a delegation of businessmen and investors from China. To discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of integrated steel industries in the Arab Abu Saed industrial zone in the center and city of Al-Saff, within the framework of the state’s directions to support the industrial sector and attract more foreign investments.
During the meeting, the Governor of Giza stressed that the Egyptian state pays great attention to the localization of the industry and deepening the local component, and is working to create an attractive investment climate by facilitating procedures and providing various forms of support to serious investors, which contributes to achieving sustainable economic development.

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar pointed out that the industrial zone in Arab Abu Saed is considered one of the promising and emerging areas, and is expected to witness a major industrial boom during the coming period, due to its investment potential, distinguished location, and infrastructure qualified to receive major projects.
Governor added GizaThe state is sparing no effort in providing the necessary support for the success of industrial projects, in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and the concerned authorities, and pushing for the speedy completion of procedures, given the importance of these projects in providing new job opportunities, supporting the local economy, and achieving real added value to the national industry.
For their part, Chinese investors expressed their aspiration to enhance cooperation with the Egyptian state, stressing that Egypt has witnessed remarkable economic and industrial developments during the recent period, in addition to providing a suitable and stimulating climate for investment.
They pointed out that the project represents the first phase of an expansion plan, and will be implemented in accordance with the highest global technological and environmental standards, ensuring sustainable development and environmental preservation, as well as meeting the needs of the local market and expanding exports to foreign markets.
The meeting was attended by Ibrahim Al-Shehabi, Deputy Governor of Giza, Mahmoud Fawzi, Head of the Supervisory Authority for Industrial and Investment Zones, Wael Shaaban, Head of the Central Administration for Governor’s Office Affairs, Engineer Abdullah Hussein, Head of the Executive Authority of the Industrial Zone in Arab Abu Saed, and Hisham Al-Jundi, Vice President of the Authority.
