Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, issued 5 urgent directives to the head of the East Mansoura District and the concerned authorities, following the completion of repair work on an emergency leak in the drinking water line on Suez Canal Street in Mansoura City, in order to ensure that conditions return to normal and to preserve the safety of citizens.
The directives of the Governor of Dakahlia included the immediate removal of all traces of excavation and remnants of repair work from the vicinity of the site, while restoring the thing to its original state by paving the road and repaving it, in a way that ensures the efficiency of the infrastructure and that the street will not be affected in the future.
The governor stressed returning traffic to normal immediately upon completion of the work, and preventing any obstacles that might disrupt traffic, especially on one of the vital streets in Mansoura.

Major General Tariq Marzouk directed the necessity of full coordination between the East Mansoura district, the drinking water and sanitation company, and all concerned parties, to complete all work as quickly as possible and with the highest quality.
The Governor of Dakahlia stressed the importance of continuing periodic technical follow-up of the water line, to ensure its efficiency and not to repeat malfunctions in the future, in order to ensure the regularity and sustainability of the service provided to citizens.
It is noteworthy that the Governor of Dakahlia had inspected the site of the leak immediately after it occurred, and directed that it be dealt with quickly, as the teams of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company succeeded in completing the repair without interruption of water to the surrounding areas.
