The Governor of Alexandria directs the receipt of waste from the work of removing the pedestrian bridge in Sidi Gaber
This came as part of a package of urgent technical and organizational measures to improve traffic movement in the region, during his field tour today, Thursday, to follow up on the expansion and development of Abu Qir Street, in addition to inspecting the work of removing the pedestrian bridge in the Sidi Gaber area, within the Sharq neighborhood.
The Governor of Alexandria also directed the Projects and Workshops Department to quickly receive and remove all waste from the pedestrian bridge removal work, in full coordination with the Sharq District.
Khaled stressed the need to fully adhere to occupational safety standards and not allow any obstacles that may affect traffic or endanger the safety of citizens.
In a related context, the Governor of Alexandria was keen to listen to the complaints and demands of a number of citizens during the tour, and directed that they be quickly examined and dealt with immediately through coordination with the competent authorities, stressing that direct communication with citizens and a quick response to their demands are the top priorities of executive work in the governorate.
The Governor of Alexandria stressed the governorate’s continued efforts to implement the comprehensive development plan for traffic axes and the road network.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled stressed the importance of periodic field follow-up to ensure the quality of implementation and achieve the highest rates of operational efficiency, which reflects positively on the level of services provided to the Alexandrian citizen.
