Ministry continues Endowments Its efforts to rebuild the houses of God – the Almighty – opened (48) mosques today, Friday, January 16, 2026 AD, where (8) new mosques were established and built, (35) mosques were replaced and renovated, and (5) mosques were maintained and developed.

The Ministry announced that the total number of mosques opened since the first of July 2025 until now has reached (482) mosques, including (372) mosques between new construction, replacement and renovation, and (110) maintenance and development mosques. The Ministry confirmed that the total number of mosques that have been replaced, renovated, maintained and furnished since July 2014 has reached (13,971) mosques, at a total cost estimated at about 24 billion and 886. One million pounds.

The list of mosques scheduled to be opened varied geographically, as follows:

In Sohag Governorate:

The Al-Nasr Mosque in Nag Al-Tal in the village of Naza Al-Dakishiya – Juhayna Center was replaced and renovated.

The Al-Fath Mosque was established and built in Ezbet Hawy in the village of Sheikh Marzouk – Al-Balina Center.

In Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate:

The Awlad Nusair Mosque in Al-Rub’ village – Baltim Center was replaced and renovated. Al-Fath Mosque in Ezbet Al-Hasayna in Al-Dabaa Village – Riyadh Center, and Al-Rida Mosque in Ezbet Al-Abd in Mesir Village – Kafr El-Sheikh Center.

In Minya Governorate:

The Al-Salam Mosque in the village of Awlad Al-Sheikh – Maghagha Center, the Agrarian Reform Mosque in the village of Kom Ali Hilmi – Maghagha Center, the Al-Sharabiya Mosque in the village of Dalga – Dermwas Center, the Al-Gharbi Mosque in the village of Bani Hakam – Samalout Center, and the Al-Sharafa Mosque in Bahdal Village – Minya Center were replaced and renovated.

In Assiut Governorate:

The Al-Nasr Mosque in the village of Qasr Abu Karim – Dayrut Center, the Al-Khader Mosque in the village of Bani Hilal – the center of Al-Qusiya, the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in the village of Bani Rafi’ – the center of Manfalut, the Ebad Al-Rahman Mosque in the village of Kom Angasha – the center of Dayrout, the Awlad Badawi Mosque in the village of Mir – the center of Al-Qusiya, the Nasr al-Islam Mosque in the village of Amshul – the center of Dayrout, and the Al Abdullah Mosque in the village of Bani. Rafi – Manfalut Center.

Imam Ahmed Mahmoud Mubarak Mosque – New Assiut City was established and built.

The Al-Nawail Mosque in the village of Bani Muhammad Al-Marawna – Abnoub Center was also maintained and developed.

In Qena Governorate:

The Mosque of the Martyr Abdul Hamid in the village of Al-Rafsha – Abu Tisht Center, the Mosque of Naga Al-Hajja in the village of Al-Sharqi in Bahjoura – Naga Hammadi Center, and the Al-Nour Al-Muhammadi Mosque in the village of Al-Taramsa – Qena Center were replaced and renovated.

In Beheira Governorate:

The Al-Rahman Mosque in Izbat Ahmed Hasbo in the village of Abu Masoud – Al-Dalangat Center, the Abu Hamad Mosque in the village of Abu Hamad – Rashid Center, and the Al-Bayda Mosque in the village of Al-Abadiya – Damanhour Center were replaced and renovated.

In Aswan Governorate:

The Sayyida Zeinab Mosque was established and built in Ezbet Abdel Hafeez in the village of Wadi Al-Radisiyah – Edfu Center, and the Quba Mosque in the village of Al-Atmur Bahri – Kom Ombo Center.

In Ismailia Governorate:

The Model Village Mosque in Abu Khalifa Village – Qantara West Center was replaced and renovated.

In Gharbia Governorate:

Al-Salam Mosque – Basyoun Center, Al-Salam Mosque in Tafhana Al-Azab Village – Zefta Center, Al-Rahma Mosque in Ezbet Markos – Tanta Center, and Sidi Khidr Mosque in Kafr Khidr Village – Tanta Center were replaced and renovated.

In Giza Governorate:

The Al-Tawhid Mosque in the village of Bernasht – Al-Ayat Center, the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in the Al-Ayat residences – Al-Ayat Center, the Agricultural Society – Auseem Center, and the Al-Huda Mosque in Izbat Al-Waqf in Al-Raqqa Village – Al-Ayat Center were replaced and renovated.

The Mansouri Mosque was established and built in the second district – Build Your House – October Gardens.

In Qalyubia Governorate:

Al-Rahman Mosque in Ezbet Al-Mateen – Al-Qanater Charity Center was replaced and renovated.

Bilal bin Rabah Mosque was established and built in Kafr Al-Jazzar village – Banha Center.

In Port Said Governorate:

Al-Furqan Mosque was established and built in the Suez Canal Authority Compound – Port Fouad.

In Beni Suef Governorate:

The Al-Taqwa Mosque in Bayad Al-Arab Village – Beni Suef Center was replaced and renovated.

Al-Rawda Mosque was established and built on Port Said Street, next to the Stars Academy – Biba Center.

In Sharqia Governorate:

The Kafr Abu Al-Ezz Mosque in Al-Sudas Village – Al-Ibrahimiyya Center was replaced and renovated. And Al-Nour Mosque in Amrit village – Abu Hammad Center.

The Grand Mosque (Ibrahim) in Al-Barbari district – Abu Kabir Center was maintained and developed. And Al-Tawhid Mosque in Al-Zahraa Village – Zagazig Center.

In Dakahlia Governorate:

The Bahr Mosque in Algeria Village – Stamouni Center was maintained and developed.

In Luxor Governorate:

The Anwar Muhammadiyah Mosque – the center and city of Qurna – was maintained and developed.

These efforts confirm the Ministry of Endowments’ commitment to developing and modernizing the houses of God Almighty. To provide an appropriate faith environment for worshipers in various parts of the Republic within the framework of the Ministry’s interest in rebuilding the houses of God – the Almighty – materially, spiritually and intellectually.
