Ministry announced Endowments The opening of 19 mosques today, Friday, March 13, 2026, where two new mosques were established and built, 10 mosques were replaced and renovated, and 7 mosques were maintained and developed.
The Ministry announced that the total number of mosques opened since the first of July 2025 until now has reached (921) mosques, including 725 mosques between new construction, replacement and renovation, and (196) maintenance and development mosques. The Ministry confirmed that the total number of mosques that have been replaced, renovated, maintained and furnished since July 2014 has reached 14,410 mosques, at a total cost estimated at about 26 billion. And 975 million pounds.

The list of mosques scheduled to be opened varied geographically, as follows:
In Luxor Governorate:
The Muhammad Youssef Safin Mosque in Al-Ashi village – Al-Zinia Center was replaced and renovated.
The Abdullah Khalifa Mosque was established and built in Nag Alwan in the village of Al-Adaysat Qebli – the city of Al-Toud.
The Al-Salam Mosque in Al-Awamiya Village – Luxor Center was maintained and developed.
In Minya Governorate:
The Khashashaba Mosque in Mahdi Village – Minya Center was replaced and renovated.
In Fayoum Governorate:
The Grand Al-Saeeda Mosque in Kahk village – Shawashna Center was replaced and renovated. And Al-Nahda Surur Mosque – Abshway Center.
In Dakahlia Governorate:
The Grand Mosque 22 Al-Amal in Al-Hafir – Stamouni Center – Belqas was replaced and renovated.
The Arab Sharwayed Mosque in Al-Rabiah Village – Dikernes Center was maintained and developed.
In Qalyubia Governorate:
The Obaid Mosque in the village of Mit Kenana – Toukh Center was replaced and renovated.
The Martyr Abdel Rahman Bakr Mosque in the village of Kafr Sindanhour – Banha Center was maintained and developed. And Al-Rahman Mosque in Al-Marij Village – Shibin Al-Qanater Center.
In Sohag Governorate:
The Al-Jamal Mosque in Nazat Al-Hajer village – Juhayna Center was replaced and renovated.
In Gharbia Governorate:
The Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque in Hanout village – Zefta Center was replaced and renovated.
In New Valley Governorate:
The Abdul Dayem Mosque was established and built in the village of Abdul Dayem – Balat Center.
In Beheira Governorate:
Mahmoud Hamed Mosque in Al-Hajer village – Kafr Al-Dawwar Center was replaced and renovated.
In Menoufia Governorate:
The Bahri Mosque in Al-Baranaqa Village – Al-Bajour Center was replaced and renovated.
In Beni Suef Governorate:
Mayhoub Mosque in Riyadh Village – Nasser Center was maintained and developed.
In Assiut Governorate:
The Martyr Abdel Moneim Riad Mosque in Masara village – Dayrut Center was maintained and developed.
In Port Said Governorate:
The Urban Development Mosque was maintained and developed in the Al-Salam Expressway area in Al-Manakh neighborhood – affiliated with the Suburbs Administration.
