
Ali Youssef, head of the Al-Wasti Center and City, announced the completion of the work of transferring electrical feeds to neighboring lines, and reconnecting the electrical current to the areas and villages affected by the power outage resulting from the limited fire at the Qashisha transformer station.
This comes within the framework of Beni Suef Governor Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim’s follow-up of the repercussions of the limited fire at the Qashisha transformer station, as his sovereignty follows the situation moment by moment through the unified control center and the competent agencies, directing quickly to deal with developments, complete coordination between the concerned authorities, and take all necessary technical measures, until the repair work is completed and the electrical current returns to normal completely and safely.
The city president explained that the power was restored temporarily, until the complete completion of repair work at the transformer station, within the framework of alleviating the severity of the outage and ensuring the continuity of service to citizens during the repair period.
For his part, Engineer Ahmed Qarni, Head of the Beni Suef Electricity Sector, explained that a load reduction system will be applied to the affected villages, at an hourly rate alternating between the villages, as a temporary measure to ensure the stability of the network and that no additional malfunctions occur, until the complete repair and maintenance work at the Qishisha transformer station is completely completed.
The head of the electricity sector in Beni Suef confirmed that the technical crews continue to work around the clock, in coordination with the local unit and the unified control room in the governorate, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, until the service returns to normal completely and safely.
