The Egyptian handball team qualified for the final match of the African Cup of Nations currently being held in Rwanda during the period from 21 to 31 January, after achieving a well-deserved victory over the Cape Verde national team, 32-26, in the semi-final match.
The Tunisian national team reserves the qualification ticket to the final match
The match witnessed the brilliance of Ahmed Hisham Al-Sayed “Dodo”, who was crowned Man of the Match, after his outstanding contribution in leading the Pharaohs towards the final.
On the other hand, the Tunisian national team reserved the qualification ticket to the final match, after defeating its counterpart, the Algerian national team, in the semi-finals, setting up an expected date with the Egyptian national team for the continental championship title.
With these results, the teams of Egypt and Tunisia will meet in the final of the tournament in search of crowning the African title, after the two teams officially guaranteed qualification to the 2027 World Handball Championship in Germany.
