Automotive Division: Decision to move showrooms outside residential blocks
Balbaa explained during a phone call with journalist Sherif Amer, on the Happening in Egypt program on MBC Misr, that the division has a set of proposals, the most prominent of which is the necessity of dividing the decision into two parts that distinguish between licensed exhibitions that have been organized for years, and unlicensed exhibitions that have spread widely.
Omar Balbaa added that Al-Najjar and the owners of licensed showrooms respect the law and regulations regulating the car trade, and adhere to the controls that contribute to regulating traffic and maintaining the streets.
He also called for a reconsideration of the decision to completely move exhibitions outside residential blocks, pointing out that the number of licensed exhibitions is about 20,000 in Cairo and the governorates, and the exhibition owners do not have the financial ability to purchase land outside residential areas to implement the decision.
