Announce Central Bank The core inflation rate declined on an annual basis to 11.8% during December 2025, compared to 12.5% in November 2025.
The Central Bank announces a decline in annual inflation
The bank explained, in a statement, that the monthly rate of change in the core consumer price index, prepared by the Central Bank, recorded 0.2% in December 2025, compared to 0.9% in December 2024 and 0.8% in November 2025.
Earlier, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics indicated that the monthly rate of change in the general urban consumer price index reached 0.2% in December 2025, which is the same rate recorded in December 2024, and less than the rate of 0.3% recorded in November 2025.
On an annual basis, the general urban inflation rate recorded 12.3% during December 2025, a rate similar to what was recorded in November 2025.
