Counselor Hisham Badawi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, opened the plenary session, which witnessed the discussion of a number of specific committee reports on international agreements.
The beginning of the general session of the House of Representatives to discuss international agreements
Discussions include the following agreements:
1) Method of approving the letters exchanged between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of Japan regarding the grant provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the project “Providing a Diving Support Vessel”, issued by Presidential Decree No. 582 of 2025.
2) The method of approving the exchange of letters regarding the grant for the project “Developing Green (Environmentally Friendly) Car Maintenance Technology for Vocational Training Centers in Egypt” between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of the Republic of Korea, issued by Presidential Decree No. 651 of 2025.
3) The method of approving the financing agreement (grant) for the program to support the implementation of social and economic reforms at the local level between the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the European Union, issued by Presidential Decree No. 730 of 2025.
4) Method of approving the grant agreement provided by the Technical Assistance Fund for Middle-Income Countries (MIC-TAF) between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the African Development Bank, issued by President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Resolution No. 735 of 2025.
