Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Sadiq, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, BQenaIn implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, a surprise inspection tour of the Medical Commission headquarters in the governorate, to determine the regularity of work progress and ensure the facilitation of procedures provided to citizens, especially the groups benefiting from social protection programs, within the framework of strict field follow-up to ensure the quality of health services.

During his tour, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health was accompanied by Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Hassan, Director of the Medical Commission, who began the tour by reviewing the level of performance within the various departments, and ensuring the presence of medical staff and human resources in their locations.

Sadiq stressed the need to quickly complete requests, in a way that achieves the principles of social justice and supports the beneficiaries of the “Solidarity and Dignity” program, noting that he listened to the demands of citizens who frequent the commission, and the extent of their satisfaction with the work mechanisms and ease of procedures.

The Qena Health Undersecretary explained that he also followed the system for issuing the “Integrated Services Card” for people with disabilities, stressing the importance of utmost accuracy and appropriate humane treatment with this group in a way that preserves their dignity and ensures that they obtain their legal rights.

Sadiq added that the tour included a careful review of the services for issuing “professional and private” driver’s licenses, exceptional pension procedures for members of the armed forces, the medical examination system for drivers, the drug laboratory, and sample analysis work for government sector employees, stressing strict adherence to technical standards and accuracy in the results given the vital role assigned to the laboratory.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health stressed that the true criterion for success is the good treatment of citizens and the speedy settlement of their interests, stressing the continuation of surprise rounds to ensure the provision of medical and administrative service worthy of the people of Qena Governorate.
