Academy progress National Training The program, in cooperation with the House of Representatives, starting today, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, is directed to new representatives who have not previously practiced parliamentary work. This is to support the process of parliamentary work and enhance the efficiency of legislative and oversight performance.

Program duration

The program extends for 6 training days, divided between the National Training Academy and the House of Representatives in the Administrative Capital, with the program ending on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Target group

The number of members of the House of Representatives targeted by the program is 391 members.

The training methodology relies on workshops, meetings and open discussions with leading experts in various fields, in addition to interactive lectures.

The goal of the program

The program aims to provide new representatives with basic knowledge and skills related to the nature of parliamentary work, including understanding the mechanisms of legislation and drafting laws, developing oversight skills over the work of the government and various bodies, and enhancing representatives’ knowledge of parliamentary procedures and ways to communicate with citizens and various institutions.

This program comes in light of the confidence of the Egyptian state and political leadership in the National Training Academy, as it is the most important national arm in building the Egyptian person, and the gateway to the future for preparing leaders capable of carrying out their responsibilities efficiently and consciously, in accordance with the latest training methodologies and international standards.

Program axes:

– Parliamentary diplomacy – protocol, etiquette and ceremony

– The general plan for economic and social development, including: strategic planning and linking laws to national policies. The nature of the plan and its strategic objectives (growth – justice – sustainability – regional balance). The institutional stages of its preparation (the government – the Council of Ministers – Parliament), and the parliamentary procedures for discussing the plan within the House of Representatives. Linking the plan to Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the UN sustainable development goals.

– The media axis of political and media communication, dealing with the media and the press, media crisis management, and media campaigns.

– Cognitive and intellectual skills: anticipating the future and dealing with regional and international changes. Analyze public policies and prepare policy papers. Digital work: digital transformation, data management, development of control tools.
