The people of the Shubra Al-Kheima area in the governorate mourned QalyubiaThe bodies of a father and his two sons, after the funeral prayer was performed over them in Abu Bakr Mosque, amid a state of sadness and shock among the people, after their death in an incident suspected of being exposed to food poisoning after eating a meal of kofta.

Names of victims of suspected food poisoning
The names of the deceased were as follows: Muhammad A.M., 50 years old, a Qur’an memorizer, the father, Ahmed M.A.M., 21 years old, the son, and Hafsa M.A., 18 years old, the daughter, while the injured are: Zainab M.A., 47 years old, a housewife, the mother, suffering from abdominal pain, and Hamza M.A., 13 years old, the son, suffering from abdominal pain.
All the injured were transferred to Nasser General Hospital to receive the necessary medical care, where the mother and injured son were placed under observation in intensive care due to the seriousness of their condition.
Earlier, the investigating authorities decided to assign forensic medicine to perform an autopsy on the bodies of the deceased in the suspected food poisoning incident that took place in the Shubra Al-Kheima Second Department. In Qalyubia GovernorateThis is to accurately state the cause of death after finding the remains of a kofta meal, and to confirm whether there is a criminal suspicion or not, and to authorize burial after the completion of the autopsy work.
