- Oh God, on the first Friday of Shaban, make our dead among those who enjoy comfort in their graves, and place his soul with the souls of the righteous and martyrs, and grant him the company of the prophets and the righteous in the gardens of bliss.
- Oh God, on the first Friday of Shaban, replace our dead with a better home than his home, and a better family than his family, and admit him to Paradise without judgment or torment, and protect him from the temptation of the grave and the torment of the Fire.
- Oh God, on the first Friday of Shaban, have mercy on the estrangement of our dead in his grave, honor him with your vast mercy, and place him in the highest paradise in Paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous.
- Oh God, on the first Friday of Shaban, wash away the dirt of our dead with water, snow, and hail, and overlook his bad deeds, and record him among the righteous with You, and gather us with him in the abode of Your honor and the abode of Your mercy.
- Oh God, on the first Friday of Shaban, grant our dead intercession from Your Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and light his grave, and make him safe from the greatest terror on the Day of Resurrection, and give him a drink from the basin of Your Prophet from which he will never be thirsty again.

Prayers for the deceased in the middle of Shaban
It is desirable to take advantage of the night of the middle of Shaban to pray for the deceased, as the annual actions of the servants are lifted in the month of Shaban, and in it the qiblah is turned to the Sacred House of God. It is also desirable to take advantage of the night of the middle of Shaban as it is the best night after Laylat al-Qadr. - Oh God, on the night of the middle of Sha`ban, raise our deceased in high places, replace him with bliss after bliss, and record for him good deeds that will please his eyes and make his heart happy in your generous proximity.
- Oh God, on the night of the middle of Shaban, free the neck of our dead from hell, make his grave a lush garden, grant him the gaze of your honorable face, and give him a blissful and soothing drink from the hand of your chosen Prophet.
- Oh God, on the night of the middle of Sha`ban, accept his good deeds and overlook his bad deeds, and make the best of his life his last, his best deeds his closing, and his best days the day of his meeting with You, O Possessor of Glory and Honor.
- Oh God, on the night of the middle of Sha`ban, clothe our dead with dignity, give him drink from the rivers of Paradise, protect him from the heat of the poisons, and place him in a seat of truth with a powerful King.
- Oh God, on the night of the middle of Sha`ban, make our dead firm with firm words, make the reckoning easy for him, weigh the scales of his good deeds, lighten the scales of his bad deeds, and make him among the winners of your mercy, O tenderness, O manan.
- Oh God, on the night of the middle of Shaban, make the grave of our dead a shrine for the angels, and a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and perfume him with the breeze of faith, and grant him the joy of his eye by meeting you and looking at your honorable face.
- Oh God, on the night of the middle of Sha`ban, write for our deceased an exoneration from the Fire, a passage on the Sirat, and safety from torment, and make him pass like flashing lightning to gardens as wide as the heavens and the earth.
- Oh God, on the night of the middle of Sha`ban, multiply the good deeds of our deceased, erase the bad deeds from him, raise his grades, and make him among the close ones who have no fear and no sorrow in the abode of eternal bliss.
