The South Sinai Endowments Directorate organized a specialized training course entitled “Population and Reproductive Health,” as part of its awareness-raising role to spread community awareness of population and health issues according to the moderate approach.
Course topics
The course addressed a number of important topics, most notably: raising awareness of reproductive health concepts, the importance of family planning, correcting misconceptions related to population issues, and enhancing community awareness with a balanced scientific and legal vision.
An elite group of lecturers
A number of specialists participated in presenting the course activities, including:
Sheikh Muhammad Al-Nimrawi, Enas Khair Abdel-Sadiq, Jihan Mahmoud Assem, Nahla Atef Mahmoud.
The lecturers stressed the importance of integrating roles between religious and health institutions in spreading correct awareness, especially regarding population issues and their impact on development.
Care and supervision
These activities are held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, and under the supervision of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Sayyid Youssef and a number of sheikhs of endowments and preaching.
This session reflects the state’s interest in enhancing community awareness of population and health issues, through cooperation between religious and medical institutions, which contributes to building a society that is more aware and capable of achieving sustainable development.
