Today, Monday, January 12, the competent Court of Appeal will hear the first trial session of the two young children accused of ending the life of their friend, while they were filming a staged video on the TikTok platform.
Trial of those accused of ending the life of their friend in Imbaba
The beginning goes back to when the Imbaba area of Giza Governorate witnessed a tragic incident when two young children ended their friend’s life by tying him inside a place and leaving him for 3 hours until he fell in an attempt to untie him, and his head hit the ground, leading to his death.
Cairo 24 met with the family of Mustafa, the victim, and his mother began her speech by saying that she called her son about 3 hours before the incident to check on him, but he did not respond, which raised her doubts and concerns about him.
The victim’s mother added that she told his father about what happened, but she did not give up and tried to check on him again, but she was shocked when she was surprised when one of the children accidentally opened his phone telling the other that Mustafa had died, saying: I heard one person telling the other the truth, he died.
For his part, the victim’s father said that when the victim’s mother called him, he went around looking for his son and called his friends, but there was no answer. Things got worse when he learned of the news that his son had been taken to the hospital, but he did not know that he had died.
The victim’s father explained that the defendants said that they were making a video for the TikTok application and that the victim was the one who asked them to restrain him, saying: My son told them to kill me, not to kill me.
