
Yesterday, Thursday, the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, presented an artistic concert entitled “Soharat Sharia” by the Arab National Music Ensemble, led by Maestro Dr. Mostafa Helmy, at the Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria.
The concert included a variety of the most important sequences of series and musical works penned by the late musician Ammar Al-Sharaie, including: I wish I was your love, Here is Cairo, The Borders, Oh My Darling, O Egypt, If You Are Mine and I am Yours., More Than My Soul, sequences of the Family series, Abu El-Ela Al-Bishri, Zizinia, Arabesque, Al-Ayyam, Witness and Tears.
The band’s stars Mai Hassan, Mohamed Tarek, Ahmed Essam, Enas Ezz El-Din, and Ayat Farouk participated in the concert.
The ceremony was held within the plans of the Ministry of Culture and the Opera House to rediscover and disseminate melodies stamped with the pure Egyptian character, in addition to highlighting the values of loyalty to the symbols who left immortal imprints in the arena of creativity.
