The Department of Education in Jeddah decided Saudi ArabiaConverting studies to be remote via the Madrasati platform tomorrow, Tuesday, in Jeddah, Rabigh, and Khulais schools, for all students, due to the weather conditions the region is witnessing.
The Jeddah Education Department said in a tweet on its account on X: Based on the reports received from the National Center of Meteorology, and in the interest of everyone’s safety, it was decided to transfer the study to be remote, via the Madrasati platform tomorrow, Tuesday, in Jeddah, Rabigh, and Khulais schools, for all students and male and female school employees.
Heavy rain in Jeddah
It is noteworthy that the National Center of Meteorology in Saudi Arabia issued a red warning for the city of Jeddah for heavy rain, indicating that the start of the warning is from one o’clock in the morning tomorrow, Tuesday, until one o’clock in the afternoon.
The center explained that the rain will be accompanied by high-speed winds, lack of horizontal visibility, hail, torrential rains, high waves, and thunderbolts.
While the National Center of Meteorology in Saudi Arabia issued 4 red alerts for heavy rains falling on 4 regions in the Kingdom today, Monday, including: Mecca, Medina, Hail, and the northern border, as Rabigh Governorate witnessed heavy rains that required shifting the in-person studies for male and female students to be remote at the headquarters of King Abdulaziz University in its branch in the governorate, with the application of a flexible working system for employees, according to Saudi media.
