Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor, confirmed AssiutContinuing the implementation of massive campaigns to remove encroachments on state lands and agricultural lands in various centers and villages of the governorate, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership headed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to preserve state property and preserve agricultural land, and to decisively confront all forms of encroachments and building violations, while applying the law to everyone without exception.
Removing encroachments on state lands and agricultural lands
The Governor of Assiut explained that the work of the first phase of the 28th wave of removals, which continues until March 27, resulted in the removal of 20 cases encroaching on agricultural lands, state property, and spatial variables within the scope of 6 centers, within the framework of full coordination between local units, law enforcement forces, and all concerned parties, with continuous field follow-up to ensure the removal of encroachments from the cradle and prevent their recurrence.
The governor added that the campaigns were carried out in the centers of Al-Fath, Assiut, Sidfa, Sahel Selim, Al-Badari, and Al-Qusiya, and resulted in the recovery of an area estimated at 10 karats and 5 shares of agricultural land, in addition to the removal of illegal buildings on an area of 1,161 square meters.
Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr pointed out that the campaigns witnessed the removal of 4 cases of encroachment on agricultural land, spatial variables, and agricultural reform property in both Sidfa and Badari centers, and the removal of 3 cases of encroachment on spatial variables in the Al-Fath center, in addition to a case of encroachment on agricultural land in the Assiut center, and two cases of encroachment on agricultural reform property in the Sahel Selim center, in addition to the removal of 6 cases of encroachment on state property and spatial variables in the Qusia center.
The Governor of Assiut stressed the immediate and decisive response to any attempts that are considered new or cases of return of infringements that have previously been removed, in order to preserve the rights of the state and the capabilities of future generations, and to ensure the imposition of the prestige of the law and the achievement of public discipline.
In a related context, the governor confirmed that the governorate continues to receive complaints and reports from citizens 24 hours a day, through the hotline (114), the central operations room numbers, and the unified government complaints system (16528), stressing that all reports are examined and dealt with immediately in accordance with the provisions of the law.
