The executive agencies in the center and city of Khanka launched a massive campaign; To confront illegal construction works and recover state lands in the village of Al-Qalaj, affiliated with the center.

The campaign resulted in the removal of 20 cases of encroachment on state-owned lands (agrarian reform), in the presence of Major General Ahmed Abu Bakr, Head of the Khanka Center and City, and Ms. Walaa Muhammad, Vice President of the Council.

The removal included a total area of ​​approximately 2,200 square meters of violating buildings, and included the removal of two cases of columns on the ground floor, two cases of Swiss buildings, in addition to 16 cases of buildings armed with plaster. The area of ​​land recovered from encroachments amounted to about 68 acres of land reform land.

The removal work included the participation of the agricultural reform official in the Al-Qalaj region, Dr. Rifaat Ayad, Director of the Agricultural Administration in Al-Khanka, and Mahmoud Salama, head of the local unit in Al-Qalaj, along with representatives of the Engineering Department and the Occupations and Removals Department in Al-Khanka Center.

Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, stressed that the governorate is continuing with full force in decisively confronting all forms of infringement on state property and agricultural lands, stressing that the main goal is to recover every inch of the people’s right, and to apply the law strictly and transparently to everyone. He also directed all heads of centers and cities to redouble efforts to immediately remove any encroachment in the cradle, and to deal very firmly with any attempt to build in violation, in order to preserve the rights of future generations.
