It was implemented by the Qalyubia Supply Directorate, headed by Dr. Tamer Salah Mukhtar, Undersecretary, Supply Campaigns On bakeries, commercial activities, and catering operators within the centers and cities of Banha, Toukh, and Qalyoub, in order to ensure compliance with decisions and laws and protect citizens from any violating practices.
The Directorate explained that the campaigns resulted in the seizure of a ration dealer in the Mit Nama district for collecting 84 bottles of oil and illegally selling 143 bags of pasta. A misdemeanor report was issued and a violation report was seized for not announcing prices, which represents the exploitation of food supplies for illegal profit.
26 catering violations were also issued in municipal bakeries, including: producing underweight bread, not cleaning kneading tools, not having an operating menu, not giving cash to citizens, producing bread that does not conform to legal specifications, and other violations, in addition to 20 violations being issued in catering counters for violations related to closing without permission and not having activity data lists.
The Directorate confirmed the continuation of intensive campaigns without stopping to ensure the protection of citizens’ rights and deter violators, stressing the strict implementation of the law with any violations in markets and catering activities.
