Poultry prices today
The prices of white poultry on the farm stabilized to range between 60 and 61 pounds per kilo, while its price to the consumer in the markets ranges between 62 and 71 pounds.
As for red Sasso chickens, which are in high demand, their price on the farm ranged between 80 and 88 pounds, and they were sold to the consumer at a price ranging approximately between 90 and 98 pounds per kilo. As for local poultry, its price on the farm ranged between 80 and 101 pounds, with its price to the consumer exceeding 100 pounds in most cases.
As for products derived from poultry, the price of penne has maintained its relatively high levels, with the price per kilo for the consumer ranging between 175 and 210 pounds, depending on the region and quality. Prices of fresh chicken breasts remained on average between 150 and 160 pounds per kilo, while the price of a kilo of white chicken thighs ranged between 78 and 120 pounds.
Egg prices today
Egg prices witnessed stability or a slight decline in some varieties, as a carton of white eggs (30 eggs) registered a price on the farm ranging between 115 and 116.30 pounds, and was sold to the consumer at a price ranging between 120 and 126 pounds. As for red eggs, their prices on the farm ranged between 114.30 and 117 pounds, and their price to the consumer reached between 120 and 126 pounds. While local eggs are considered the highest price on the farm, with prices ranging between 120.30 and 140 pounds per carton, they are sold to the consumer at a price starting from 130 and up to 150 pounds in retail markets.
